Discounts for BPI Affiliates
There is no greater feeling for a trainer than seeing a student 'get it'. That is why we put together the Building Analyst Field Training Video - to help BPI and weatherization trainers use their limited time with students in the most productive manner.
Successful trainers are requiring or encouraging their students to watch the DVD before they come to class to be familiar with the general steps of an energy audit. This allows the trainer to go deeper into applied building science and energy audits. The DVD also serves as a refresher after in field mentoring. Students can follow along from home with their own equipment as they study and prepare for the BPI field exams.
Building Science Tech has a variety of options for BPI and weatherization trainers who would like to use our training resources as part of their curriculum. We offer a variety of bulk order discounts for the DVD, as well as an editable version of our useful Data Collection Form.
Bulk Order Discounts on the DVD

Discount 1: Standard Bulk Order
We offer a tiered discount structure for bulk orders - the more you purchase, the greater the discount.

Discount 2: Batched Bulk Order
For trainers that do not want to buy all the videos up front and instead prefer to purchase batches throughout the year, Building Science Tech will add the cumulative total of orders during the calendar year for the discount, following the above tiered discount structure.
For example, if you purchase 20 in February 2010, you will get a 20% discount on those twenty. In June, if you purchase another 20 (the annual total to date would be 40) you will get bumped up to a 35% discount for that order. If another 40 are purchased in September (bringing the annual total to 80), those 40 would receive 45% off.
Discount 3: Student Purchased Discount Code
Trainers may select a flat rate 10% deduction or free shipping for their students. The trainer may choose to keep the 10% discount as a commission for themselves ($10 per DVD) by using a unique discount code to track the orders from their students. The trainer may also give their students a unique code for a 10% discount on DVDs or opt for free shipping.
Editable Data Collection Form
Included with each Building Analyst Field Training DVD is a detailed 15 page Data Collection Form. This pdf document includes photographs and instructions on how to complete every observation and diagnostic test of a home energy audit, and provides space for test results and observations to be recorded. It is organized to provide a step by step framework and structure to the audit, and follows the order of the DVD.
The Data Collection Form that comes with the DVD is not to be shared, nor is it editable. For BPI Trainers only, Building Science Tech is offering an editable Data Collection Form that includes the rights to use this resource in trainings for only $250.
